Destinations on this sailing trip:

ACI marina Dubrovnik

Departure by sailing boat from ACI Marina Dubrovnik. ACI marina Dubrovnik is located in Komolac, in the mouth of the river called Rijeka Dubrovačka, 8 km from Dubrovnik airport and 3 miles (5 km) away from Dubrovnik Old Town. The Dubrovnik yacht harbour of ACI Marina Dubrovnik is the departing port of this sailing itinerary in Croatia:  Sailing in Dubrovnik and islands.

Kobaš (Pelješac peninsula)

Yachtsmen love to moor their yacht in Kobaš because of restaurant Niko, where they serve freshly caught seafood, wine and olive oil from their own yards. Sail up the Pelješac canal to Ston. You will see oyster farms all around the area as well as the famous wine yards of Dingač and Postup. Especially interesting in Ston are the 5,5 km long medieval walls from which you have a marvellous view over the town, wine yards and Adriatic sea.

Pomena (Mljet island)

Island Mljet with its beautiful coast and preserved nature is a true sailing paradise. The sailing boat can be moored in Pomena from where you can take a walk to the Mljet National Park consisting of two saltwater lakes surrounded by a thick forest. In the middle of the Large lake is a small islet with a former Benedictine monastery. Enjoy amazing swimming or strolling around the lakes.

Lastovo island archipelago

You will probably never get enough of sailing around the island of Lastovo and the 45 surrounding islands. There are many coves ideal for anchoring the sailing boat and swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear sea. You can step on land and follow the hiking trails that take you over the island. The settlement of Lastovo is a charming village known for its strange chimneys. Zaklopatica is a picturesque bay on the north side of Lastovo with a modest waterfront and some excellent restaurants.

Vela Luka (Korčula island)

On sailing holidays you can reach marvellous places hard to reach for tourists. Like the small island of Proizd in front of Vela Luka on island Korčula. Proizd is proclaimed one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic. Vela Luka is a vivid harbour with many cosy restaurants on the waterfront.

Korčula

The old town of Korčula is a small fortified medieval town. The entrance to the old core gives you the feeling to be in the Middle Ages, while at the same time you can feel the typical Dalmatian island atmosphere. Around Korčula there are many bays, coves and islets where you can anchor your yacht charter boat and swim or relax in the amazing turquoise sea. In the Blue lagoon of islet Stupa Velika a sublime restaurant serving organic food is hidden, the perfect place for chilling.

Prožura (Mljet island)

Mljet is one of those islands characteristic for sailing in Croatia, blessed with a beautiful turquoise blue sea, beautiful coves and covered with thick green forests. While sailing around Mljet you will discover many coves, fresh water springs, beaches and protected anchorages like in the bay of Prožura. The coves are ideal for swimming and snorkelling, while the chirping sounds of the crickets and aromatic scents from the forests create a relaxing atmosphere.

Dubrovnik old town

Sailing in Dubrovnik and approaching Dubrovnik by sailing boat is an unforgettable experience. The sight of the fortified town raising from the water will give you the feeling of going back in time. You can sail around Dubrovnik, that will say, along the medieval fortified city walls built on the rocks. The city walls were built from the 13th till 17th century and in total the walls around the old city are 2km long. The walls include many towers and fortresses equipped with canons (not working). Once inside the old town, stroll down the 300 meter long Stradun main street and the around lying labyrinth of narrow streets full of restaurants, bars and giftshops. The Stradun main street connects the two main gates, Ploce and Pile. As well each end is marked by old fountains and bell towers. Take a walk over the city walls from which you will have the best view of the Dubrovnik old town.
